An empty retail unit was prepared for Jollyes The Pet People in Scunthorpe. Ecoflor worked with the store development team on a smart floor finish suitable for retail traffic and routine maintenance.
Preparation and finish
Previous tile adhesive and latex were removed to expose the slab. Densification and seven stages of grinding and polishing produced a 3000-grit finish. A two-coat penetrating sealer was applied and diamond burnished after curing.
Completed work
The 600 m² floor was handed back in eight days for shopfitting, signage and stock preparation. The agreed process combined substrate preparation, mechanical refinement and surface protection.
